Career Hub Support Officer

Do you have experience in recruitment or career support or the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN)? Would you like to provide quality support and advice to employers of Australian Apprentices and help job seekers gain real skills for real careers?  

If you have experience in recruitment or provision of career support and advice within an AASN or the VET Sector, can provide quality customer service, demonstrate strong communication and administration skills we want to hear from you!

 

About the Role:

Based in our Ringwood office, this is your opportunity to work for our Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP)

You will be an integral part of our Career Hub team and will focus on providing high quality pre-commencement advice and early education about Australian Apprenticeships and performing job matching and screening to find the 'right fit' for Australian Apprenticeship vacancies.

The position also provides system support to Career Hub users and performs related administration tasks. It will provide the successful applicant with a rewarding opportunity to help job seekers gain real skills for real careers as well as assisting employers with their recruitment needs.

Please note: This is a full-time fixed-term position ending 31 January 2022.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • assist employers to post vacancies and write job advertisements
  • provide early education and pre-commencement advice to employers and job seekers
  • find the ‘right fit’ candidates for Australian Apprenticeship vacancies
  • assist with preparation of Ready To Work (RTW) plans for job seekers
  • perform system support, administration and data entry tasks
  • contribute to the continual improvement of MEGT ANP Career Hub.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service to external and internal stakeholders
  • able to display strong written and oral communication skills with an excellent phone manner for inbound and outbound calls
  • demonstrated accurate and efficient data entry skills with attention to detail
  • demonstrated high level of computer literacy across a range of programs, including MS Office
  • demonstrated experience in recruitment provision of career support or within an AASN or the VET sector will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check (where applicable).
