GRADUATE ENGINEER

Melco Engineering Pty Ltd is currently seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join our Mackay team.

We are a world class engineering, construction and maintenance organisation with operations in the Mackay and Whitsunday regions of Queensland.

This role will require the successful applicant to play a critical role in all facets of the project management process, including tendering and estimating, material take off’s, scheduling, quality management and reporting.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Degree qualification in mechanical or structural engineering
  • Have a highly committed and motivated attitude with the drive to be an integral member of a winning team
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Project experience
  • Prioritisation to meet set deadlines
  • Intermediate CAD competency

Desirable skills and qualifications:

•    Understanding of job costing and project management
