Adviceline Injury Lawyers is a leading personal injury practice with a passion for achieving successful compensation outcomes for their clients.
 
As a division of Holding Redlich, Adviceline Injury Lawyers has particular expertise and focus on personal injury cases including workers compensation, asbestos litigation, public liability, coronial inquests, transport accident claims, medical negligence and hearing loss claims.

The role
 
The primary focus of this role is to provide secretarial and administrative support to a Partner and law clerks in a busy personal injury practice (including WorkCover, Medical Negligence, Public Liability and Asbestos claims).
 
Duties will include:
  • File maintenance - electronic and paper;
  • Diary management;
  • Opening and closing files;
  • Scanning, distributing and sending mail (including electronic mail);
  • Drafting correspondence;
  • Uploading and scanning documents onto different databases;
  • Requesting cheques;
  • Banking;
  • Answering calls and taking messages;
  • Digital dictation;
  • Editing documents;
  • Photocopying;
  • Data entry;
  • Document lodgments;
  • Preparing briefs to Counsel;
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, Counsel and medical practitioners;
  • Arranging medico-legal examinations;
  • Following up document requests;
  • Assisting with litigation preparation (for example court documentations, mediations and arranging costings).
Yours skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and enthusiasm in providing high quality service to clients.  You will enjoy a busy team environment and a collaborative and supportive work culture. 
 
It is desirable that you have completed a legal support course such as Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal), Certificate IV in Legal Services, or a similar administrative course.
