Family Support Worker

Identitywa is one of Western Australia's leading agencies supporting people with disability and their families for over 40 years. 

Identitywa works in partnership with individuals and families to build a community where people with disability enjoy a fulfilled life.

 

We currently have vacancies for Family Support Workers to support our people around Perth Metropolitan Area.

 

These positions present a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping primary and high school age children to achieve their personal goals and dreams.

To be a successful candidate, you will be passionate about community support, able to work independently and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

You need to be flexible, reliable, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate initiative to provide the best experiences for the people we support.

Shifts can vary in length and are usually at set times/days each week.

 

We support our staff while they are supporting others by offering:

  • An extensive induction and orientation program;
  • Ongoing specialised training, skill development and further career opportunities;
  • Employee Assistance Program;
  • Access to tax saving via Salary Packaging;
  • A competitive hourly rate.
