Our client is a large local government organisation committed to exemplary service and by making a difference to the citizens and rate payers who live in the area.

We are looking for an Assistant Treatment Plant Operator that will assist with the smooth running of the Waste Water Treatment Plant/Pumping Station to ensure a high level of product quality at all times.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be a team player and who has previously worked with sewerage or water treatment in a similar environment.

About the Role:

• Ongoing temporary position
• Local Government
• Monday to Friday - 38 hours
• Clean and maintain sewerage pump stations
• Operate Water and Sewerage Treatment Plants according to statutory requirements
• Maintain and secure all required tools and equipment
• Ensure all vehicles used are maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition
• Perform any other tasks as requested by the Treatment Plant Supervisor

About You:

Open manual driver licence (Essential)

White Construction Card (Essential)

Certificate III in Water Operations (desirable)
