The Role
A position for a Laboratory Technician is available starting January 2020, working Monday-Friday in a busy chemical manufacturer laboratory. This is a temporary role with an expected duration of approximately 5 weeks.
Responsibilities are as follows:
• Chemical and physical testing of raw materials and finished products
• Maintaining safe laboratory practices in accordance with OHS guidelines
• Uphold laboratory operation quality and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Laboratory housekeeping and other duties as directed
Ideal Skills & Experience
Desirable applicants will possess:
• Certificate in Laboratory Techniques essential, BSc (Chemistry) is advantageous
• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control position
• Dedication to OHS
• Full working rights in Australia
