About the Role.
As a Social Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for helping to plan, create and capture stand out social media content for SWEAT and our trainer brands. You will be working alongside some of the biggest and best names in the fitness industry. You will be expected to travel with them where necessary to help deliver and support real-time content capture across a variety of social channels and outputs.
You will be responsible for ongoing daily, weekly and monthly social media activities, growing social engagement and driving our social media growth. You will be working in a collaborative social media team that will help you develop, grow and achieve world-class results for our trainers and SWEAT brand.
This role requires a passion for creating and planning standout social media content and digital messages, a creative flair, a high level of organisation and a keen desire to develop and utilise your social media marketing experience.
You will have a great eye for the perfect selfie, you will know when the light is just right and you will stop traffic to nail that Instagram story.
You will be addicted to social media and your own content will outshine your peers and followers on Instagram or Snapchat.
Key responsibilities include;
Execution of the ongoing social marketing strategy for SWEAT and trainers across a wide range of social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Youtube;
Plan, write and capture high-quality social content for all channels;
Ongoing content capture as part of always-on content or at specific campaign moments (potentially at events abroad);
Working collaboratively and effectively with various stakeholders across the SWEAT organisation including trainers, assistants, brand managers and copywriters; and
Execution of the SWEAT Influencer marketing strategy across a wide range of social channels.
In addition to the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines we are seeking applications from candidates who demonstrate;
Strong knowledge of social media marketing, content marketing - a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a digital marketing / social media marketing position in a fast-paced environment is essential;
Excellent organisational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to work proactively, meet deadlines and effectively manage competing priorities;
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
Passion and creativity with a positive can-do attitude, willing to get in and get the job done.
