About the role
The Technologist (Casual) position (immediate start) will involve assisting other technologists as well as being able to work independently
Additional training will be provided on the job.
As a technologist – you will assist in the setting up & operating tests, compiling reports, calibration of equipment, cleaning up as well as other related activities.
This role will initially consist of 2 to 3 days a week - which may increase to 4 to 5 days a week dependent on current work available.

Skills and experience
Experience in working in the laboratory 3+ years and hold a TAFE or equivalent/relevant laboratory degree/certificate.
Proficient in using computer programs such as excel, word, outlook and being able to use the internet effectively are a must have skill.
Nice to have skills; would include a driver's licence, forklift ticket, test and tag licence, able to pickup and use a spanner/hand tools.
The person suited for this position would ideally be; happy to get your hands dirty, organised, able to work independently, work flexible hours & prepared to give a range of different activities a go.
Candidate should have a safe approach to working, positive attitude, a sense of humour while being punctual, reliable and honest.
