The Position

St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital are currently seeking Allied Health Assistants, to join the Physiotherapy team.  As an Allied Health Assistant, you are to assist the Allied Health therapists (including Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist) with the delivery of appropriate treatment programs and patient transport.

This fantastic opportunity will be offered on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be available to work weekends where required. We encourage new graduates to apply.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Basic Manual Handling Course.
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or progression toward relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Ability to use own initiative, demonstrate reliability and thereby require minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
