Service Desk Analyst/ICT Support Officer - Level 1 Support -Federal Government

One of Australia’s most reputable Federal Government Agency is seeking a skilled Service Desk / ICT Support Officer to deliver ICT support and also educate using a range of methods. The successful skilled Service Desk / ICT Support Officer will join a team that is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and support through telephone and email. 12 month contract plus 24 month extension option.

The successful Service Desk / ICT Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Delivering consistent customer service excellence while communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Communicating with a variety of clients with differing levels of ICT knowledge
  • Effectively prioritising work to ensure high levels of service and support are provided
  • Providing Desktop support including SOE deployments, software deployment, rebuilds and level 1 troubleshooting
  • Responding to and prioritising competing and urgent requests while maintaining high work standards

The Successful Service Desk / ICT Support Officer must have experience in the following:

  • Minimum 1 years proven experience in a Service Desk or Customer Service Role
  • Proven experience, working with Shared Service providers and internal stakeholders in the provision of Level 1 ICT support.
  • Ability to set up and deploy personal assets; i.e. Surface Pro’s, Monitors, and IT peripherals.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring an ICT support mailbox, responding and escalating requests/issues as required.
  • Demonstrated experience in using ICT support tools to manage escalated incidents and service requests.
