APS are currently seeking reliable and high quality candidates to join the existing team at an International Freight company located in Tullamarine.

Shift times

Afternoon shift

Start times as early as 3.30pm - $38.09 per hour

All shifts are confirmed on a day by day basis, up to 5 days available for the right candidates. Must be available to work FULL shifts up to 8 hours each day.

As a freight sorter, you will be involved in:

  • Freight sorting on conveyor system into area codes
  • Unloading freight from containers onto conveyor belts
  • Working across both air and road freight
  • Pallet breakdown
  • Loading & unloading freight onto trucks/trailers/cages
  • Pallet Stacking
  • Manual lifting up to 20kg
  • Forklift drivers - load and unload, pallet stacking & sorting

The successful candidates will have:

  • Availability must be 5 days per week across PM shifts
  • Must be flexible on start times varying between 3.30pm and 5pm start
  • Candidates already working full hours will not be considered as we need 5 day availability for up to 8 hours each day. 
  • An excellent work ethic where you are prepared to be proactive and show initiative on the job
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
  • Pass a National Police Check
  • Own transport is a necessity
  • Applicants with a forklift license will be eligible for forklift work
  • Steel capped safety boots and high visibility clothing
