Administration & Office Support, Administrative Assistants

Would you like to work for an employer that is genuine about the wellbeing of their team, encourages fun and professional development? This is your chance to work for a one of a kind employer and you can go home at the end of the day knowing you have made a real difference!

The position

A brand new position has just become available to work with this successful team. They have been so successful that the disability self-management program has grown and we are now seeking a full time administration support officer to keep our team on top of things and super organised! If you are so efficient that you can do 5 days of work in 3 days then we would also consider a part time position.

With the increase in clients we are in need of a very specific skill set to help us manage the workload. As the administration support officer you must have a keen eye for detail, enjoy data entry- being fast and accurate, have the ability to meet strict deadlines and follow procedures. You will also have to juggle multiple computer systems and tasks and a variety of requests from different areas of our business.

While this does sound like a back of house role you will be an integral point of contact for our clients, stakeholders and may at times need to deal with conflict around account management. You will also be a key member of our quirky team and there will never be a dull moment for you and you certainly won’t be lacking in interactions like some bland data entry based roles.

Previous experience working within primary healthcare or the NDIS is an advantage, but not essential as on the job training will be provided. We just need your exceptional time management and organisational skills to keep us on track.

The organisation

HR+ is a not-for-profit organisation contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain general practitioners, nursing and allied health professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities.  HR+ is a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management and is the coordinating agency for the Visas for GPs Program nationally.

We started to outgrow our old offices so we have just relocated to brand new, purpose built offices in the heart of Launceston. The offices have been fitted out with all the latest technology and the greenery is multiplying by the day. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of co-workers and management team that would bend over backwards to help you out!

The culture is a one of a kind, just ask any one of our staff and they will tell you about all the perks of working for HR+, including ongoing professional development, additional paid time off, impromptu lunches and morning teas to celebrate just about everything that happens at work and at home. It is a fun, innovative place to work and somewhere all staff are heard equally.

What’s on offer?

As previously mentioned HR+ is a not for profit so we offer access to salary packaging and salary sacrifice up to the value of $15,900. A generous salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience.

On top of that we have well above award working conditions including the previously mentioned paid Christmas leave during our office shut down, paid Easter Tuesday, paid leave loading, paid leave to volunteer and apart from all the additional paid time off when we are at work we like to celebrate with food!
