We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team, in our newly acquired manufacturing site in Pakenham. As the HR Advisor you are proactive, motivated and a passionate team player. You consider yourself a leader, an instructor, a master of problem-solving with a flair for anticipating issues before they even occur.

Stepping into this role you will apply your broad knowledge of all aspects of HR to this generalist position, enjoying the variety and autonomy it affords you. You will report to the HR Manager and will provide crucial operational support for ensuring that the people management policies and procedures of Patties Foods are developed and applied consistently and effectively across all business functions.

You will be:

  • Managing the implementation of HR policies and procedures, and contributing to the continuing development of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage end-to-end business wide HR projects, programs and initiatives in collaboration with the HR Director and HR team
  • Provide advice, information and guidance to all Managers to ensure they meet all policy requirements, including recruitment and selection, performance management, employee development and training, and EEO.
  • Develop and manage an efficient set of HR systems, services and tools, either in house or through outsourcing relationships to support business functions in operating effectively
  • Assist with coaching and development of managers and supervisors to enable them to effectively manage their staff resources
