Purpose of role:

Based at our world-class manufacturing facility located in Braeside, Melbourne, ensure that IT related issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner across the entire site. Provide L1/L2 technical support that results in an exceptional user experience for all staff based in Braeside and throughout the Blackmores Group.

This position requires interaction with Blackmores employees, IT associates and third-party contractors, with a strong bias towards service, quality and customer satisfaction.

This is an afternoon shift role where you may be required to work outside of your normal working hours where necessary, including weekends.

Responsibilities include:

  • L1/L2 IT Service Desk support

  • Manage the installation/relocation of end user hardware

  • Software Deployment

  • Support the hardware and software used on the desktop

  • Manage IT Service Desk calls within agreed SLA’s

  • Microsoft Windows 10 support and deployment

  • Desktop, Laptop, Printers and peripherals support

  • Apple iOS / Android mobile device support and management

  • Understanding of Microsoft Office software suite & Microsoft Active Directory

  • Supporting remote user connectivity

  • Assistance with developing processes with departments where applicable

  • User account administration including Active Directory and o365 administration

  • Ensures call tickets are updated and closed in a timely manner.  Escalates calls to ITSD Manager and/or other IT teams as required. 

Who are you?

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a corporate IT support function, ideally within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry supported by relevant IT qualifications

  • Strong understanding of computer operations (eg. MS Office 365, MD Teams, Windows 7-10, networks and hardware) and previous experience using a ticketing system

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and spoken English), responding to user queries both in person or remotely

  • Able to meet tight deadlines, working under pressure and prioritising tasks

  • Self-motivated, passionate about IT and improving the user experience

  • Interprets written, oral, diagram or schedule forms
