We are looking for an experienced Inwards Good officer to join our Glendenning Factory.

The inwards goods officer will be responsible for ensuring all raw Materials, consumables and purchased finished goods are booked into the system and put away or distributed correctly in a timely manner. The position plays an important role in ensuring on time delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities Include:                    

  • Receipting of raw materials, consumables and purchased goods
  • Quality inspection of incoming goods to ensure they conform to specification
  • Palletisation of product
  • Storage of raw materials, consumables and purchased goods and ensure correct preservation of packaging.
  • Distribution of delivered goods to correct departments
  • Receipting of Purchase order into the ERP system
  • Assist with cycle counts as per schedule
  • Assist with Purchase order expediting
  • Distribution of delivered goods to correct departments
  • Stock location / stock accuracy
  • Picking of orders
  • Support H & S function, creating appropriate risk assessments, incident reporting and enforcement of H & S rules

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Reach/Forklift licence
  • Experience in use of Stock Management systems, electronic and supporting paperwork
  • Ability to demonstrate an acceptable level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Physically fit with a positive attitude
  • Great work ethic
