About the role

Working with the maintenance team across the Coal Processing facility and overseeing other fixed assets the Electrical Coordinator reports to the CHPP Manager to ensure the planning and coordination of all preventative and breakdown maintenance activities. In this role you will drive positive outcomes to deliver plant performance and availability to contribute to production target outcomes.  

About you

Coming from an electrical engineering or trade background within similar processing plant environments you will have a strong understanding of electrical maintenance and repair, maintenance systems, activities and strategies, budgeting and safety to ensure plant availability and performance. You will demonstrate clear communication skills and be able to liaise with various departments to ensure best practise and achieve desired outcomes. You will be a capable and experienced leader who can supervisor and mentor employees and ensure planned work is executed.

Key duties and accountabilities:

  • Site compliance and standards coupled with upholding policies and procedures
  • Monthly reporting, budgeting and safety
  • Keep up to date with current technology
  • Project work, modifications and improvements
  • All planned and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Input to improve costs, maintenance strategies and production
  • Leadership experience and ability to mentor other CHPP staff
