Our client enriches the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental illness, through encouraging wellness and building independent living skills.They provide services Melbourne wide, with a reputation for delivering high quality outcomes to both their participants and support workers.

Their services are currently in high demand and as a result are looking to engage a highly skilled Service Manager to work within their Accommodation house in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs.


To be successful in this role you must have;

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Cert III Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability)- other qualifications may also be considered.
  • Have 'Assist with Medication" competency
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Previous experience in the industry in a similar role
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and individual funding
  • Demonstrated experience problem solving and dealing with disputes or complaints in a timely manner
  • High level organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with person and professional integrity
  • Experience in Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • A current Employment Working with Children’s Check and clear Police Check
  • Australian Drivers License and your own reliable vehicle
  • Flexibility in working hours


Your responsibilities in this role include;

  • Leading and managing the day to day services by delivering flexible, quality service to participants requiring person centred support
  • Managing the overall service with support from the Group Manager this would include services such as; Service Delivery, Leadership, Staff Capability and Training
  • Budget oversight including reporting internally and externally
  • Directly supervising support staff, including rostering, mentoring and coaching
  • Leading excellence in service provision both internally and externally
  • Supporting participants and staff with complex behaviour and mental health management
