The Role

The Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator will be based primarily at Hurstville and have frequent working days at Menai. Working within an effective team of professionals who pride themselves on ensuring our members and guests are aware of all the Club has to offer.

You will be a crucial utility player in the team taking responsibility for liaising with our external graphic design services generating all artwork for Club advertisements both internally and externally. You will also be responsible for managing digital content for internal and external display and ideally be degree or Diploma Qualified in their chosen field. We need someone with creative flair who can quickly understand the project and deliver briefs to generate material that will spark interest and be consistent with the Clubs branding and image. You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate records to ensure our artwork is accessible to all. The successful applicant will also be a crucial member of the Marketing team and will assist on major promotion days and special events with the overall coordination of the events.

They will work closely with the Group Business Development and Marketing Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Creating design briefs and liaison with external design agency
  • Updating material on external and in house advertising screens
  • Arranging print production as well as in house printing and trimming of posters and flyers
  • Maintaining and updating current internal content and advertising material
  • Ensuring consistent application of Club Branding and creation of new logos
  • Creating and amending adhoc design projects in house
  • Distributing promotional material for both internal and external advertising
  • Proof read and approve designs according to the briefLiaising with external suppliers for printing quotes, ordering stock and sending jobs to print

The Right Candidate

The right candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Designer. Print production experience a plus
  • Experience working in a high volume, high output environment
  • Exceptional proof-reading capabilities
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take the lead and direct colleagues
  • Full competency in design software applications including but not limited to: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Can cope with multiple deadlines and changing deadlines
  • Can contextualise a design brief and turn it in to a finished product.

The Must Haves

  • Design experience
  • Current RSA and RCG competency card
  • Current drivers’ licence with car
  • The right to work in Australia
