National Key Account Manager (Petrol and Convenience)

ABOUT THE POSITION

 

We are seeking a highly motivated National Key Account Manager to join our sales team to manage and grow the national/state convenience and petrol key accounts, securing distribution of Bickford's products whilst actively developing new businesses. The position is located in Melbourne VIC.

 

Reporting to the General Manager of Sales, this key leadership position will be responsible for:

  • The effective management of convenience and petrol key accounts
  • Executing State and National Strategy's, Business Plans and Promotional Programs, including developing and implementing new launches and driving acceptance
  • Developing and implementing national/state account management strategies focusing on convenience stores, securing distribution of Bickford's products
  • Identification of new business opportunities focusing on maximising volumes, brand exposure and profit
  • Build strong and robust relationships with customers
  • Accurate record keeping and entering of data into company systems
  • Timely reporting and sales admin tasks as required
  • Planning and executing an effective journey plan to cover the territory
  • Control and minimise trade expenditure

Ideally you will be results orientated, hungry for success and understand the importance of delivering quality customer service to your clients whilst working to meet sales targets.

To be successful in the role you will have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong business acumen, be willing to challenge the norm and have a genuine passion for achieving goals and developing the business. Proven success in a similar role within convenience store account management is required. Territory Qualifications in either sales or business management is preferable.
