Site Services Technician

About the role

Reporting to the UHT Reliability Manager, this role will take ownership for the site services to ensure we are achieving overall reliability requirements. The role will also oversee and manage the day to day movement of site waste while also ensuring the site is visually fit for purpose.  

You will be required to:

  • Works closely with the reliability and operations teams across the site;
  • Ensure all site services are checked and running within their specified operating parameters;
  • Work with internal and external service providers to ensure the Preventative Maintenance programs are adhered to and any corrective action works are highlighted and completed as soon as practicable;
  • Site Services will include the boilers, air compressor, potable water system, trade waste and DAF plants, chilled water systems, hot water systems, site CIP system overview, chemical delivery and distribution etc.; and
  • Ensure that site looks ascetically fit for purpose while managing the site waste streams into the appropriate areas.

Key points we are looking for:

  • Trades background or demonstrated years of experience working with Site Services;
  • Knowledge of chemical usage for dairy manufacturing plants;
  • Ability to read manuals/plans/PID’s to understand process flows across the site;
  • Use of MEX to log in corrective actions and plan for Preventative maintenance tasks;
  • Boilers attendance ticket and forklift license is highly desirable;
  • Team player, understand that results are measured in a team environment;
  • Can do attitude, nothing is to hard or too much of a hassle, doing the job right first time; and
  • Ability to support a 24x7, 365 days per year production environment.
