Reporting Analyst – Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

About the role:  

The key purpose of this role is to support the implementation of Equity Trustees enterprise-wide Risk & Compliance Management Framework through the implementation of a rigorous, structured and repeatable management, Board and Committee reporting framework. 

Specific duties include:

  • Develop and maintain management Risk & Compliance related reporting to Business Units
  • Undertake Risk & Compliance trend analysis, including identifying appropriate remedial recommendations to support Senior Compliance Business Partners and Risk Managers in their breach and incident remediation and control testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain Risk & Compliance related reporting for Board and Committee meetings (maintaining all aspects of Compliance Dashboard on a monthly basis).
  • Co-ordinate and lead the Equity Trustee Controls Monitoring Plan (including periodic reviews and targeted testing).
  • Assist with AML related monitoring, including review of escalations of AML related queries as required.
  • Work with each Senior Business Partner (SBP) Compliance in identifying specific reporting requirements for their respective BU.
  • Establish rigorous data management and reporting processes to ensure consistent, structured report production
  • Develop and maintain efficient and repeatable reporting processes

What you need to succeed:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Risk Management and/or appropriate business experience.
  • Post graduate industry certifications in related areas will be well regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience as Compliance Analyst (2+ years).
  • Demonstrated experience in Trend analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory environment EQT Group operates in.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, advocacy and interpersonal skills to motivate and influence outcomes.
  • Strong communication capabilities – both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders with various expectations.
  • Knowledge of automated compliance systems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and work efficiently and independently.
