About the role:  

The key purpose of this role is to support the implementation of Equity Trustees enterprise-wide Risk & Compliance Management Framework by ensuring that robust processes, systems and records exist and are followed in supporting the business and Enterprise Risk processes. 

Specific duties include:

  • Act as administrator (ownership and management) of Risk & Compliance Tool (GRC), including vendor escalations and system enhancements.
  • Act as administrator (ownership and management) of Regulatory Alert feed, including vendor escalations and system enhancements.
  • Act as administrator (ownership and management) of Legal matter management tool, including vendor escalations and system enhancements.
  • Act as administrator for Compliance Training system, including vendor escalations, allocations of training to new employees and ongoing annual refresher, co-ordination of performance reporting for Boards and Committees.
  • Support the administration of Enterprise Risk supported Committees through the loading of Committee papers onto the portal. Act as administrator of EQT’s Obligation Register, including updating of Regulatory changes in the Register, and ensuring all obligations are appropriately recorded and managed by respective impacted parties.
  • Assist Senior Business Partners – Compliance with incident and complaint management across the EQT Group.
  • Support the due diligence processes undertaken by the Compliance team relating to anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing
  • Review and maintenance of file structure for the Enterprise Risk team to ensure rigorous record keeping
  • Assist Senior Business Partners – Compliance with initiatives and projects, as required.
  • External Audit liaison and co-ordination of information requests from an Enterprise Risk perspective.

What you need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated experience as a system administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience working with external vendors.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and influence outcomes.
  • Strong communication capabilities – both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders with various expectations.
  • Knowledge of automated compliance systems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and work efficiently and independently.
  • Tertiary qualification in system related discipline or experience in managing administration solutions will be well regarded.
