Building Designer / Design Draftsperson

There is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to develop their career within a company that is growing! If you enjoy working hands-on with clients to produce designs for their dream homes, this position is for you! Work collaboratively with a team dedicated to all stages of the construction process, producing high quality work and building lasting relationships with our clients!

You will take the lead in liaising with the client during the pre-construction stage to understand their vision and produce creative and detailed residential design drawings. Daily tasks will include preparing concept plans, conducting client meetings, liaising with sales consultants and setting priorities. This ensures all wants, needs and expectations of our clients are consistently being met! Those with a construction background who can produce timely and cost-effective plans will thrive in this position.

In order to be considered for this role, it is preferred you have the following:

  • ArchiCAD proficiency
  • Minimum 3 years of Western Australian design experience
  • Good communication skills and past experience liaising with clients
  • Experience in a double storey construction an advantage
  • A sound understanding of the R-Codes & BCA
  • Willingness to develop your career & knowledge
  • You will be a team player, have high aspirations and be dynamic in all that you do.
