The recently restored Twenty Third Street distillery, built on the existing foundations of the original Renmark Growers Cooperative site dating back to 1914, is a balance of both old and new. So too, are the brands in which are home to the site with the 23rd St brand offering new adaptations on spirits, right through to the more traditional brandy styles from the House of Black Bottle.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Chef or someone who is currently studying to commence on a casual basis, to support our Chef's with all food preparation and serving of food to customers. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking, preparing and serving food, ensuring high presentation of foods
  • Ensuring health code standards are adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring kitchen, food preparation and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitised at all times
  • Provide consistent and high quality customer service

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery or currently studying
  • Be available to work weekends, public holidays and after hours
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality in high volume services
  • Have a passion for driving Australian owned, locally crafted products and share that enthusiasm with visitors

RP+ RSA badge will be an advantage.
