Catering Industries are currently seeking dedicated and experienced casual Chefs to join our team!

Here’s how it works
1 – Tell us your availability and when you can work. 
2 – Casual shifts are offered at various locations; you accept; you work!

Ongoing casual shifts will be available for you to accept as per your availability. Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner/ Prep shifts will be on offer, giving you the opportunity to work AM or PM, Weekday or Weekend shifts.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3+ year's experience in a similar role - aged care experience highly regarded
  • Trade certificate desirable
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Collaborative and team player 
  • Must have reliable transport
  • Ability to produce high quality meals in line with aged care food service/HACCP guidelines, Quality Assurance procedures including low and high care residents
  • Assisting in menu design, changes and implementation
  • Responsible for preparation of special diets such as puree, gluten free and texture modified etc
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task 
  • High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge
  • Support the chef manager in preparation of meals
