Another Coach is needed to join our growing team in Shepparton, VIC.

We are looking for another dynamic Trainer Assessor (Education Coach) to motivate and inspire disengaged youth; building confidence through learning.

You will be provided with all the coursework and resources needed to assist each of your Learners in this rewarding full-time role. Delivery includes 1:1 sessions and small group work.

We help disengaged youth, adults with low literacy and numeracy skills and people with a disability.  If you think you have the attributes to encourage our clients to be positive about learning and can teach them how to achieve their goals, then we want to hear from you.

The Australian College of Higher Education (ACHE) is seeking to employ another full-time Trainer Assessor (Coach) to deliver our literacy & numeracy program which operates in Shepparton and surrounding towns. 

The successful applicant will have a positive and pro-active approach to work, possess excellent communication skills, be highly organised and be able to effectively work autonomously and also within a team environment.

The ability to engage and connect with clients to help them achieve their goals as well as a genuine desire to assist those in the community with multiple barriers to their learning, will be crucial to your ongoing success in this role.

Highly regarded applicants will possess relevant vocational competencies including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and may also have experience and hold other qualifications in either education, youth work, disability or a related field.

Applicants who are yet to upgrade their current Certificate lV Trainer Assessor qualifications, but are able to demonstrate the above qualities and/or experience are also encouraged to apply. We will provide the right applicant with initial and ongoing training and support to ensure you have the required skills to effectively deliver the program. Note: you will be required to undertake and complete some additional study before you can commence as a fully qualified Coach.

Applicants must possess a:

  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Proficient computer skills

And be willing to obtain:

  • National Police Check

  • VIC Working with Children's Check

  • Upgrade for Certificate IV in Training & Assessment  (if required)

  • Other required Certificates

The commencing salary is $51,000 plus fuel allowance. On completion of all the required study the salary will increase to $62,455 including fuel allowance. In addition, you will also have access to the benefits of Salary Packaging.
