Performance Engineering Group currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven person in the fields of Engineering, Drafting and Technical Support. This diverse role will be the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their knowledge base and skills quickly within a fast moving and rewarding industry.

The company based in Berkeley Vale, (Gosford, Central Coast, NSW) is an established well-respected global engineering company providing manufacturing engineering solutions to a wide range of industries. In addition to the company’s core business activities the company is currently undertaking development of several new technologies.

Some of the key duties that will be required include:

  • Technical support for production, operations, purchasing and stores
  • Cad Modelling and Drafting of new products
  • Coordination with Sales, Production, Operations, Administration and suppliers on project builds
  • Attend weekly production meetings
  • Prepare, implement and monitor product quality documentation and reports

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally seeking a Graduate Engineer or 4th Year Student (preferably Mechanical)
  • Proficient computing skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Cad experience (NX experience preferred but not essential)
  • Time and task management skills
  • Ability to operate hands-on in a workshop environment if required
  • Committed, driven and motivated to succeed
  • Work under direction and on own initiative
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Safety minded with good common-sense
