About the Role

This role is responsible for the delivery of resolutions across a number of different biodiversity and natural resource management projects and issues predominately in the eastern part of the Central Tablelands region. You will work across a number of stakeholder groups both within LLS and external to LLS to develop partnerships, collaborate and negotiate resolutions to relevant issues.

As a Land services Officer you will undertake a range of biodiversity and natural resource management projects, delivering front line services to farmers and the community. As well you will be part of a larger team that undertakes the management of biodiversity, natural resource management and agricultural productivity projects; delivery of emergency planning, preparedness, response and recovery services.

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of agricultural, environmental, natural resource management, biosecurity and emergency management issues
  • Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel
