Thomas and Naaz PTY LTD. are a group of general practices located in Western Sydney's Hills and Hawkesbury districts. We are passionate about providing quality health care to our patients and their communities.

We are looking for a highly motivated Receptionist to join our friendly team.The role will require you to work within a team environment and individually. You must be able to work well under pressure. You must drive and be willing to work at different locations where necessary.

The successful applicant will work alongside our team of in providing the first point of contact for our patients with an enthusiastic and supportive smile. You will ensure the smooth operations of all daily reception aspects of the practice.

Essential Criteria:

·Must have prior experience as a Medical Receptionist in a similar environment

·Experience in liaising with doctors, staff and allied health professionals and patients on a daily basis

·Prior experience with Best Practice software.

·Experience with all Medicare related billings

 -Understand and have knowledge of specialist and allied services billing requirements and procedures

·Ability to multi task and perform appropriately under pressure with attention to detail

·Flexibility in working hours/shifts and reliability

·Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

·Have excellent computer skills

·Excellent customer service skills and effective interpersonal skills

·Fluent in written and spoken English language

·Availability to cover sick/leave of others

Key Responsibilities include:

·Answering phones, managing appointment book, greeting patients, billing,scanning

incoming mail and general reception duties.

·Managing of claims to Medicare and DVA, processing of workers compensation claims, and all private billings

·Daily banking reconciliation

·Online claiming reconciliation

·House Keeping

·Stock ordering

·Other miscellaneous admin tasks
