Junior Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Accountant, this role will report to the Financial Manager on a 12 Month fixed term contract. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide support for the financial controller and financial managers with day to day accounting and finance operations
  • Support month end closing and reporting
  • Prepare all Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly reports in a timely manner
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and report the risks/opportunities
  • Assist in preparation of the annual finance budget and monthly forecast
  • Manage allocated department budget while partnering with departments/stakeholders
  • Assist in the implementation of company best practice control processes and reporting automation
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

To be successful for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • General Accounting experience ideal, but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Sound organisational and time management skills
  • Approachability in dealing with internal and external parties
  • Maintaining a “can do” attitude
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
