Assistant Manager

Bakers Delight Woden is looking for a dynamic Assistant Sales Manager. The ideal applicant will be available Monday - Friday with flexibility to work some weekends.

If you are the type of person who prefers to stay busy, thrives in a strong team environment and gets a little thrill every time you make someone's day, we've got the job for you.

 You will be involved with training our team members while taking your supervision/management experience to the next level.

The successful applicant will require the following:

 A minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor or manager. Be available to work Easter and the Christmas period. Have a strong sales driven focus and always put customers first. Strong communication skills are vital. A good work ethic and a willingness to learn on the go. 

Excellent service is a cornerstone of our business and across the Bakers Delight network .The successful candidate will be a vibrant person with great energy who loves to talk. Someone who will have a distinct presence in our bakery and promote good customer rapport with the familiar and unfamiliar faces that visit our shop. Full training is provided which includes Merchandising and Sales Skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead by example and demonstrate a good work ethic
  • Be available to work at short notice
  • Assist with training staff 
  • Mentor staff and help them work to the best of their ability
  • Take responsibility for administration around the bakery as required
