Contract Administrator - Construction

Cumberland Building currently have an opportunity for a Contract Administrator  to join our team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the administration of contracts for our Construction projects, and be involved with the development of our tender bids.

 

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Working with the Project Manager to develop effective programs for all onsite works
  • Monitoring all financial aspects of the contract to ensure projects run to budget
  • Administering the project in a timely manner
  • Estimating and Tendering management

Skills and experience

  • Cheops Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role 
  • Formal qualification in quantity surveying or construction management at a diploma/degree level
  • Proven knowledge of the construction market including sub-contractors, etc
  • Experience with both residential and commercial project types
  • Experience with Architect administered contracts
  • Strong analytical and pricing skills across all trades
  • Full Australian working rights
