Assistant Accountant

This highly respected organisation is a true leader in their field. Having achieved exceptional growth in recent years and maintaining strong market presence they now require a motivated and aspiring assistant accountant to join their close-knit finance team. Working in a small size team the position will see you utilise your existing exposure in financial and management accounting

Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany transaction processing and reconciliations
  • Preparation of weekly labour reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of BAS
  • Capex reporting
  • Assist with Ad-hoc projects involving process and procedure improvement

To be considered for this role it you must have the following:

  • Demonstrated ability in a similar position
  • Exposure in ERP Systems and strong understanding of Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Highly motivated and driven
  • Team player who has the ability to think outside the square while adding value to the organisation
