Laseraid is a dynamic, market leading, fast-growing business, offering equipment, products and services to the laser hair removal and skin treatment market – the market is now worth over $1.2 billion, having more than doubled in the last two years.


Your role


Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be capable of establishing and managing the day-to-day finance operations across the business, taking full responsibility for all finance functions – you will need a broad range of skills and be willing and able to work independently.


Your duties


  • Developing accounting systems, processes and reports from ground up
  • Annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial modelling
  • Full responsibility for month end, statutory accounting, tax management
  • Monthly, quarterly, annual and special purpose investor reporting
  • Presenting monthly financial reports to management and board
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Coordination with the external auditors
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Efficient hands-on utilisation of cloud-based MYOB, Xero and Payroll systems
  • Full function operational book-keeping
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Generate customer invoicing - preparation of monthly statements and follow up with customers


Your skills and experience


  • Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Certified CA or CPA is preferable
  • CRM & cloud-based Accounting Software experience (Xero preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, high level of proficiency with Excel
  • Financial modelling and analysis experience

  • Circa $120k + super + bonus (pro-rata for part time employment)
