The Opportunity

The Office Assistant role is a diverse, dynamic and fast paced position that requires commitment, a high work ethic and a positive attitude.

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for an Office Assistant to join our Brisbane office on a full time 12 month fixed term traineeship. The role provides opportunity for advancement and it is envisaged the applicant may be offered a role as an Administration Assistant within a legal team after 6 to 12 months.

This role will report the Head Receptionist and will work in a team environment providing a high level of support to the firm's mail services.

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Completion of Year 12;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • A professional telephone manner;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent personal grooming and presentation;
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work;
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail;
  • A friendly and professional attitude to their work; and
  • The ability to pick up new tasks quickly.
     

The successful applicant will also be given the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal).
