Full Time/Casual - Storeworker (Afternoon)

Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications (multiple positions) for warehouse all-rounder to cover the Afternoon shift on  Fulltime and casual basis located in ACT.

Overview

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this is a FT/casual position that involves picking & packing of customer orders on day to day basis. If you have worked in a food industry/warehouse before, consider yourself physically fit  and have worked in a dry or chiller  environment before, this position could be for you.

Your day to day routine will look something like this: 

  • Receiving and replenishing stock in food service area.
  • Assemble customers orders and stack pallets correctly.
  • Checking of orders and raising discrepancy.
  • Load/unload vehicles with forklift and zippy units.
  • General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.

All about you:

  • Must hold a valid forklift license.
  • Minimum 1 year experience on high reach preferred but not essential.
  • Have prior experience working in a busy warehouse environment (advantageous).
  • Good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
  • Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance. 
  • Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
