How will I help?

This is a new opportunity within the Market Risk reporting, systems, data and controls team assisting in the production of Value-at-Risk (VaR) and  Stress testing reporting.
You will be responsible for the production and analysis of Backtest reporting for market risk and Initial Margin whilst ensuring adequate controls are in place to maintain strong risk management environment
You will perform the daily reconciliation process to ensure data integrity of the VaR engine, structural risk reporting and credit systems and you will be responsible for production of reconciliation reporting required for relevant committees

What do I need?

Along with a sound knowledge of financial markets, market risk and related systems and infrastructure, we are looking for:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in risk reporting environments.
  •  Strong business and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail
  •  Knowledge of prudential reporting requirements.
  •  Experience of data quality management and reconciliations.
  •  Experience in developing and maintaining system and process controls.
  •  Practical experience in dealing with operational process & procedure in a financial markets environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel with experience in using VBA and/or Sql an advantage
