The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking Junior Project Engineers with exposure to fabrication & piping to join our Workshop team, based at Henderson. There are multiple roles available, across various disciplines and all positions are available for an immediate start.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process material take-offs
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Arrange method statements
  • Compose weekly progress reports
  • Update schedules as required
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
  • Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
About You

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience
  • Experience working within the Fabrication and/or Piping field
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Will have a positive, "can-do” attitude along with a willingness and ability to pick things up quickly.
  •  Will also be well presented, have a high attention to detail,
