Your role in our business

As our People & Culture partner you will have the opportunity to champion people & culture and employee management strategies, programs and processes in a responsive, innovative and practical way.  

The role is accountable for leading efforts to attract and develop engaged and performing employees. This is a hands-on, solutions-focused role that will toggle across operational, tactical and strategic people and culture topics. 

Specific outcomes include:

  • Implement the people and culture strategy successfully across all areas of the business and align to the strategic business plan; people strategy deployment;

  • Deploy a productive and engaging performance management system;

  • Deploy a robust learning and development annual plan; learning & development:

  • Develop and implement an onboarding tool that aligns people with our business; culture & change;

  • Devise and implement talent acquisition initiatives within agreed budget; talent acquisition & retention

  • WHS initiatives are agreed and managed within agreed targets; work, health & safety;

  • Collate HR data, metrics and analytics to provide qualitative and quantitative insights to set priorities and inform people strategy decisions. HR governance.

What we need from you

  • Formal qualification in Human Resources and at least 7 years experience as a business partner;

  • Experience across a broad range of human resources BAU issues including performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, employee relations, strategic HR planning and change management.

  • Experience at partnering with business leaders to implement initiatives, identify risk areas and consult on a range of people issues to drive business outcomes;

  • An empathetic listener with the ability to manage difficult conversations with a range of employees;

  • Experience in a change or transformational culture where you have managed HR project would be highly desirable;
