Your new role
As a Statutory Compliance & Exits Associate, you will be required to respond to statutory notices issued by Government Agencies, Law Enforcement and Privacy Requests and exiting clients as required. Your responsibilities will include:

  • To interpret and process the allocated Notices request efficiently, accurately and within the relevant legislation by the set due date.
  • Exit any existing clients who do not adhere to Notices following all policies & procedures.
  • Liaising regularly with solicitors, law enforcement on a regular basis to ensure Notices are responded to accurately.
  • To liaise with internal customers and external service providers, ensuring that instructions, inquiries and queries, are acted on efficiently and effectively, seeking to maintain effective working relationships always.
  • Liaise with multiple teams within NAB to coordinate, collate and provide responses to Notices within set time frames.
  • Respond to individual requests for personal information held by NAB in line with the Privacy Act
  • Managing risk in ensuring compliance with legislation, internal policies, procedures & deadlines


This is 12-month opportunity working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on an hourly rate of $36.68 per hour plus super.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Business/Commerce or Law Degree (preferred)
  • Previous experience in banking and handling financial information (preferred)
  • Motivation to build a successful career
  • Experienced in process execution
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement
  • Ability to work with multiple teams
  • Good internal and external stakeholder management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
