Financial Analyst - FP&A

Are you an experienced FP&A Analyst looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organisation and take the next step in your career?

As a valued part of the Finance team, your role will be responsible for conducting FP&A activities within the Group FP&A team, including but not limited to Long Term Planning, Annual Budgeting, Forecasting, Statutory Reporting, Standard Reporting and other Business Support & Analysis activities as required. The role will be based at our office in the Sydney CBD.

 

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis and commentary for management reporting and to support delivery of BU and Group business targets/ initiatives
  • As part of the review processes, challenge, question and validate insights through capturing risks and opportunities embedded in the business
  • Lead the efficient service delivery of other business support & analysis activities to internal customers
  • Assist external FP&A reporting activities to produce a timely & insightful analysis for external result releases including: Analysis support pack for senior executives, half-year and full-year results presentations, prepare financial review in half year and full year results ASX releases (including annual report)
  • Seeking and driving continuous improvements to current FP&A activities
  • Reporting on KPI's on key business drivers and metrics to monitor performance and trends

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • CA/CPA qualified or in progress
  • FP&A experience within a large complex multi-national business
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and presentation skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and relationship building skills with the ability to engage across different levels of management
  • A drive for career growth and professional development
  • Well developed Excel skills essential
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines and juggle conflicting priorities
