To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate strong capability in the following:

 

  • Extensive business to business / trade sales experience
  • Account management & relationship building skills
  • A capacity to think and operate strategically
  • Excellent prospecting and presentation skills
  • Target focused, "hunting" individual with "farming" skills
  • Call cycle & sales funnel development experience
  • Preparation of forecasts & Account Management plans
  • Ability to implement a marketing plan
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised to achieve targets
  • Experienced in targeted "win back" and direct marketing campaigns to vertical markets
  • Sound Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to converse with people at all levels
  • Flexibility to travel as required.

 

Your ability to identify and target sales opportunities will be second to none, as will your proven experience in building strong and rewarding B2B relationships.

 

You will manage the acquisition of new accounts as well as nurture and grow current accounts. Your knowledge of the market and products available will assist you in responding to customer queries and updating your accounts on new product releases.

 

You will be a motivated and results driven individual with a proven history of achieving and exceeding sales and profit budgets within the trade sales environment.

 

Candidates with Key Account Management / Sales / Business Development / Automotive / Equipment / Materials Handling and Machinery experience will be viewed favourably.
