Sales Manager

Our client is a well-established grower, fresh food manufacturer and produce industry innovator, distributing their products across all Australian retailers as well as retail partners overseas. This role will be based at the head office (about 40km south of Ipswich) and will focus on continuous profitable sales. The role will encompass all aspects of customer relationship management, negotiations, financial accounting and complex problem solving.

Reporting to the Sales Director your responsibilities are:

  • Working closely with the executive team on strategic issues and future planning.

  • Working closely with the Agronomy and Operations teams on a daily basis to scope out capability vs product availability vs order fulfillment.

  • Construct daily production plan for main lines.

  • Coordinate daily with state based supply chain procurement team to ensure 100% DIFOT.

  • Coordinate daily with the Central Markets to trend product availability, quality and pricing.

  • Coordinate daily with the export customers.


 

As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience of account management and sales, preferably with the experience of managing national accounts. 

 

  • Business degree or similar is desirable but not essential,

  • Good use of MS Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint,

  • Excellent communication skills.
