When working for Home@Scope you are employed by the Victorian Government to provide support within Home@Scope services.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a House Supervisor to become a valuable member of the Home@Scope team in a Residential setting based in Narre Warren.

This role will be responsible for managing employees, the people we support and overseeing operations of the residence.

This is a highly rewarding role working for an organisation that supports people with a disability in an inclusive and individualised way.

About You

To qualify for this role you will:

  • have to have completed an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management
  • Have a passion to support people with a disability in an inclusive way which meets the individual needs of each customer at your service
  • Have experience within disability, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
  • Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
  • Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
  • Like change and work well in leading a team through an ever changing environment
  • Have the ability to adapt to various situations
  • Experience managing and leading large teams of support workers working with persons with a disability with complex behavioural support needs. 
  • Applicants should have consolidated and evidenced leadership skills
  • The ability to coordinate a multidispinary care team that oversee individual’s care and support.  
  • A good working knowledge of the NDIS quality and safeguarding framework and the Disability Act Vic 2006 . 
  • Knowledge of/ or experience working with persons on Supervised Treatment Orders  preferred.
