Process Technicians

TLC Diverse People Solutions are currently seeking experienced Process Technician’s to join our processing team in Western Australia’s South West.

 

Your role will be working on an 8/6, 7/7 roster ex Perth and will be accountable to the Superintendent of Processing. In your day-to-day tasks, you will be responsible for safely operating the beneficiation plant and associated infrastructure, completing inspections, preventative checks and supporting maintenance operations for optimum productivity.

 

The main duties of the role will include;

  • The safe operation of the process plant to ensure operations are maintained at the most efficient level in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Liaising with metallurgical and maintenance personnel
  • Conducting routine monitoring duties which includes sampling, inspection and record keeping in the shift logbook
  • Reporting on safety, plant performance and raising technical issues with the goal of optimising plant productivity
  • Monitoring equipment and the timely reporting and identification of faults and loss of performance
  • Providing additional support to maintenance trades and relief operation as required

 

To be considered you must have;

  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Minimum of 3 years previous mineral processing experience in Gold, Nickel or Copper process plants
  • Background in wet plant, beneficiation areas
  • Exposure to crushers, conveyors, scrubbers, cyclones, tanks, pumps, thickeners etc.
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous employment
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
