About the role


Agilis Global is currently recruiting for a high calibre Offensive Cyber Operator. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in offensive cyber operations. You will work from our Global Security Operations Centre where you will conduct cyber investigations, test vulnerabilities of company and client information holdings and monitor CCTV camera's. It requires a trusted self-starter that can work unsupervised to ethically solve complex and sensitive problems using empathy, strategic thinking, multitasking and problem solving.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure clients requirements are exceeded
  • Maintain company reputation
  • Ensure the proper execution of assigned duties
  • Conduct cyber investigations
  • Conduct vulnerability/ penetration testing
  • Prepare and present reports
  • Monitor CCTV cameras
  • Document incidents
  • Escalate incidences to the Security Coordinator
  • Liaise with public law enforcement
  • Assist in the protection of clients
  • Assist in training security personnel
  • Ensure protocols, policies, and procedures are adhered to
  • Monitor global security operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Promote professionalism within the team


Skills and experience


Essential skills and attributes:

  • Relevant University degree or equivalent
  • Minimum three years' experience in information and Cyber Security Analysis
  • Real-time problem-solving skills, both technical and strategic
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate credibly with both technical and other key business stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and highly adaptable
  • Understanding of system security and application monitoring solutions
  • Experience with Splunk or other Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) tools are desired
  • A strong understanding of IT Governance and Security
  • Proven experience developing business and IT strategies
  • Ability to analyse and advise on processes and procedures (e.g. ITIL)
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs
  • Work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • 24/7 availability

Highly Desirable

  • Knowledge of information security standards and best practices (e.g. ISO-27001, AS/NZS 4360, Australian Government ISM, NIST, etc).
  • ITIL certification or experience in Service delivery
  • Security related certification
  • Australian full working rights
  • Military and law enforcement experience
  • National security clearance

Must be willing to obtain

  • Cert 2 in security operations
  • HLTAID 003 provide first aid
  • Additional security licenses
