Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is a household name across Australia. They are a Not for Profit based in the South-Eastern suburbs and are known for their strict ethical guidelines and values. Due to an increase in workload, they are currently seeking to grow their team. They offer a supportive and enjoyable working environment and are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to come in and hit the ground running with their team.

Description

This Accounts Payable position will play an important role in the overall financial performance of the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Matching, Batching and Coding invoices efficiently and accurately for payment
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for payments
  • Carrying out payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations to supplier statements
  • Resolving all designated supplier queries within a timely manner
  • Maintaining vendor management

Profile

The successful candidate will be immediately available and have 3 years proven experience in a full function Accounts Payable role. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar autonomous role and have exposure to the Not for Profit environment. Demonstration of strong communication skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders is needed. Intermediate excel skills are required for the role whilst system knowledge is considered advantageous.
