The Role

  • Manage the annual budget process and mid-year forecast
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results
  • Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
  • Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
  • Identify past financial trends and the commercial and operational root causes of the trend
  • Working with the business, constantly reviewing and changing the way we report to add value and enable decision making. Escalating analysis and key findings to senior management to ensure alignment within organisation goals
  • Highlighting business risks and commercial opportunities
  • Develop consolidated BI dashboard reporting
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting to Senior Management
  • Business planning - constantly change the business planning process
  • Select and Implement BI tool

Your Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or related field.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Hyperion Essbase and other BI tools.
