Contract Support Officer

Railtrain Services Pty Ltd (RTS) a division of Railtrain Holdings Group (RHG), are seeking a Contract Support Officer to assist with the day to day management of a key account in the Port Hedland region.
 
About the role:
  • Residentially based in Port Hedland
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Fully maintained company vehicle for business use
  • Both site based and working from home required
 
About You:
  • Experience in Rail would be highly desirable, such as an operational role or Train Driver qualified
  • Safety background would be an advantage, including audits, incident investigations and implementing specific WHS programs and initiatives.
  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to assist with ad-hoc operational issues outside of prescribed working hours
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to forward plan and manage a workforce, including training requirements and onboarding of new employees.
  • Ability to work autonomously with both site based and home based activities required
  • Ability to develop relationships with employees and clients and deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to influence culture and manage HR functions such as performance management
 
Core Requirements:
  • You will be residentially based in Port Hedland with own accommodation
  • You hold a current Australian Driver's Licence (Class C or higher with no restrictions)
  • You have the ability to pass pre-employment recruitment testing, inclusive of CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessments and Police clearance, plus any site-specific tests/inductions required
  • You will be prepared to undergo ongoing inductions, verifications of competency, short training courses and professional development as directed
