THE ROLE

Bayley House is seeking to appoint an innovative and experienced leader to the role of Quality Manager. The appointee will promote and lead a quality culture across the organisation, empowering and resourcing staff to appreciate that quality is about the people Bayley House supports, not compliance alone.

Reporting to the General Manager - Accommodation Options, the incumbent will be a detailed and resilient person with a strong track record in quality, audit and compliance in leadership positions with a whole-of-organisation approach. S/he will possess a proactive, engaged and well-prepared style, demonstrating commitment to and experience in policy, planning and continuous improvement of service delivery. As a key member delivering organisational performance excellence, s/he will be well versed in accreditation and the controlling of records. The incumbent should be highly engaged by reviewing, redeveloping and implementing a full suite of quality policies and procedures, as well as analysing trends and developing and embedding reporting measures to ensure adherence to current legislative requirements and regulatory compliance.

While experience in disability is preferred, it is not essential that the appointee hail from such a background. With a genuine desire to operate within the for-purpose sector, indisputable connection to the mission and values of Bayley House will be essential. A relevant tertiary qualification is mandatory, and Post Graduate certificates supporting training within the field of quality assurance will be held in high regard.

THE ORGANISATION

Bayley House is a bayside-based for-purpose organisation which provides a range of residential and community-based services to adults with an intellectual disability. A change-ready organisation, Bayley House boasts a strong capital base and operates in an environment of ever-increasing regulation. Advocating wellbeing and inclusivity, fostering genuine connection and operating with respect, the Board, Executive and broader team at Bayley House strive “for all people with intellectual disability to live the life they choose”.
